Valley Child Care & Learning Center - Anthem

I love this place and the teachers. Super clean and organized. Been going for years now. Trust them completely.

My youngest daughter now attends Valley Child Care in Anthem, and just like with her older sister who used to attend, we absolutely love it. The staff is both professional and friendly, and I have never felt anything but thankful for such a loving place to send my girls each day. Valley is an affordable, safe, and nurturing place to send your child.

The director Karen is horrible. Do not question her or her inconsistencies or things get ugly fast. There is no communication between teachers, teachers aides, front desk clerk, or the director. Everyone has a different story to tell and Karen is always right no matter how wrong she is. She forced another military family out the door with inconsistnecies and we followed but not soon enough. If you are military stay away from this place as they do not like parents that question inconsistencies and if your kids gets hurt forget about an incident report for your files, they don't do that there. Heck, you'll be lucky if they tell you about your kid getting bitten on his torso multiple times. Don't worry though, you'll see all injuries at bath time and get a "Well he should have told us it happened to him," from Karen the next day. Don't expect the student to teacher ratio to be followed either as it often is not. Your child may then have an accident and be forced to sit in it all day and YOU catch it when you pick him up. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially my military family because of the Director. She definitely cannot take any form of criticism but loves to dish it out and at the front desk for all parents to see and hear in passing.

TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE!!! Stay away from this place. I can only imagine the positive reviews are posted by the staff. I have compared many horror stories from other parents that I have met in town. They get you in the door promising you the world. They really put on a show! All they want is quick turnaround, once they get your money for the day they'll call you often to pick up you child for silly little reasons just so they can make more room in the afternoon for more kids. Diaper changing is an issue, they say they do it and blame diaper rash on YOU. Wait until they start quoting "State Reg" requirements. I feel so bad I put my son through this. Experienced parents will understand the difference between a really good center and one like this one. New moms, please do some research before you send your child here. My son constantly would come home with bites and bruises at less than 2 years old! I am so very thankful we went with our gut and found a new place for him. STAY AWAY from this place!

DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. After taking my 2 yr. old son for a while to this place, one day I found one of his "teachers" yelling to one of the kids in his classroom. The next day I went there and talk to the person at the front desk about it, and told her that we weren't coming back anymore, to what she replied:" ah ok, no problem". Like she didn't care!!!!! My son was never happy,he kept telling me : mommy I don't want to go to school. Everyday the same, always left him crying or sad over there .Definitively, something was not right. PARENTS: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD THERE. Neither the teachers nor the management staff there will care about your little one!
