I believe the crazy stories in the reviews are real. The delivery of my package was unsuccessful due to a "No Such Number" issue which basically means the address was not accurate, which is just not true. I have lived in my current house for a while and received many packages without any problems. I checked with the USPS customer service, validated the address was correct, and was told to reach out to this USPS facility to request a redelivery, so I did. I tried to call this facility more than 30 times to reschedule a redelivery before my package is sent back to the sender, but no one picks up my calls.

USPS uses informed delivery to violate your privacy. Don't believe me? Whenever you receive a water bill, it gives you the option to "set a reminder". It also posts additional information about creditor letters. They are using AI to isolate and categorize your mail. Effectively violating your privacy. Makes it easy for the government to know your business just by spying on your mail. All in the name of "convenience". You hand them power, they say thank you. Then use it against you.

I wish I had read these reviews before I went. I had a TERRIBLE experience. The employee screamed at me, "I HATE THIS JOB!" I could tell she did. She threw my package towards the back of her counter. I was really surprised at her attitude during my transaction with her. I will not go back over there again.

So I ordered a red velvet album from depop in january right. It was supposed to be delivered February 6th and then got delayed by one day so February 7th. It is now August 7th and I have not received ANYTHING. I tried calling people and asking for help and they hung up on me or just didn't answer the phone at all. That album is something I've been waiting for and just having hope that it will show up one day. But now rereading this reviews I've lost hope. Please someone at USPS get my package to me!!!

I go to this branch often because it is convenient. I am always in shock when I go to another branch to see how postal service should be. It is consistently a painful experience. The staff are rude, slow and ignorant. They epitomize lazy civil servants. There is rarely more that one person on duty. They go out of their way to go as slowly as possible.

Since July 2022 No matter what I have done I am unable to change my address up to today 1/23/2023.

I don’t know what’s going on with this postal office but it’s no reason why I live in another state and still waiting on my package to be delivered. I ses a lot of people complaining about this postal office not delivering packages on time. My package was delivered a week ago. It now says that it’ was suppose to be delivered on March 28, 2022 I still have yet to receive my package. I just got a Alert that my package is being held at this Facility. People spend they hard earn money on packages to be delivered and you have people working here stealing this place needs to be reported and I will be making reports and going to the higher power about mines.

I had a great experience with the people in the passport office when I went to get a renewal. They explained the process well and I was in and out in 15 minutes. They lady was also nice when I mailed my package.

This location of USPS is the worst! Terrible Customer Service there are a few exceptions when clerks are polite, knowledgeable & helpful ...how does The Main P.O. in DC Not have a roll of stamps? I have stopped coming to this P.O. & now go out of my way to go to the P.O. on Kenilworth Avenue...the parking is hassle free..the wait in line is reasonable...the clerks are knowledgeable, friendly & always have supplies I need.. i.e. A Roll of Sttamps!! Please do better DC Main Post Office..your representation matters!

I’m only leaving this review for MERCEDES! She had the ABSOLUTE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE ENTIRE OFFICE. I had the opposite experience with WILL. I feel that this employee makes customers feel belittled and demeaned. He isn’t very helpful and while I was there a few people in line actually waited on Mercedes to finish a customer rather than going to him. Overall, this isn’t the most efficient office, but there are peope like Mercedes that makes it a decent enough office to ship things from.
