Just had the most horrible experience at Marshfield PO. Went to pick up a package of live feeders that were hold for pickup. They arrived from Springfield after my mail had run so I had no pick up slip, I was notified online. Then "gentleman" at the counter felt the need to berate me for not having the slip and having it held for pickup. He then asked for my ID so I placed my Drivers License and retired Military ID on the counter. He picked up my DL and slid my Military ID back across the counter aggressively toward me stating that was no good. I took my package and went home where I called the Post Master to complain. I was shrugged off as I expected. I usually have great interactions with everyone at the PO and my carrier, but I will not change or remove this review until I get a formal apology from the Post Master and The employee behind the counter.

I got an update saying return to sender because my address was incomplete or incorrect for my packages but when I checked the deliver address everything was correct. Not to mention I received two of my 5 packages yesterday with the same address so it clearly isn't an issue on my side. And when I go to inquire about it of course I can't speak with a person I only get an AI that won't let me speak with a person and I never get anything resolved. Still missing 3 packages and am very poised off.

My mail carrier will not deliver or pickup our mail. When I call the woman answering the phone this morning denied me the right to speak with the postmaster. I called back after she hung up on me and has refused to try and resolve any and all issues. We own a business so it is very important that we receive all mail and packages. If it is not a federal offense to refuse to pickup and drop off mail it should be. The postmaster obviously is ok with hiring individuals with horrible customer service. Anyone reading this have any suggestions on the law please help. Thank you

I have lived on my farm over 26 years now. My carrier has always delivered my mail on time everytime without fail! And I order a lot of things through the mail it makes my life easier living so far out of town. Overworked and probably underpaid. Thank you , David 834 State Highway AC Niangua, MO 65713

I ordered a package off amazon and the post office wouldn’t deliver it to my house because it’s ‘too far from my mailbox’ I attempted to place a hold on the item twice and they refused to hold the package at the post office. Every time I came by it was ‘out for delivery’ even though they won’t deliver it. I finally had my girlfriend stop by to pick up the package like she had done already with a different package two days prior and they refused to give her the package even though she was able to verify that she lived with me. This could all have been mitigated if the older gentleman working there wasn’t senile and unpleasant. I don’t have a problem directly with the post office, just this not-so-gentleman they choose to employ.

The postal workers have always been extremely helpful and patient here. I appreciate them going out of their way to be efficient when there are long lines of people with diverse needs, especially at Christmas. My own mailman, Jim, is the best around and always goes out of his way to give us great service. He has been our mailman for many years and truly cares about all his customers.

Lost our package after we received slip in mail... we sit off of the main road in the countryside and have to drive to marshfield to pick up all our packages. It's annoying but we deal with it. We receive slips in the mail every time we need to pick up a package. We were expecting a perishable item from an out of state friend and they dropped the skip in the mail. It clearly had us as the receiver and our friend's name listed on it. The claimed that just because we received the slip didn't mean that we had a package from her after losing the package. Eventually they found it but. Seriously? They made up so many excuses it didn't make sense. Also why does the sign say that we can go to jail or get up to an $1000 fine for stealing a PEN?

Before moving to Marshfield, I had honestly never had a great experience with a post office. However, this post office has been very helpful in getting me my packages. I had one package that went to the wrong address, so when I called the post office about it, the manager went and picked it up, brought it to my house and apologized! To me, customer service isn't about always doing everything right the first time, it's about fixing your mistakes. Not only did this post office fix their own mistakes, they also fixed a mistake made by a sender. I was expecting a package, but the person mailing it to me had transposed numbers in my address. The post office fixed this, saving us the cost of reshipping. I know that since the post office is a gov't thing, the employees have to wade through the bureaucracy of policies that comes with that. So I appreciate the level of customer service I've received from a place where I wouldn't expect it.

I had a package get lost when Jackson Wy. Post office shipped it back to me instead of sending a card to the recipient to let them know it had arrived! Our Marshfield PO found my package and was very helpful ! Love living in a small town where you're not just a number! I think our PO does a great job!
