This Is The Place Heritage Park

This is The Place is THE place to have a wedding or reception!!! Oh my Heavens, I can't even begin to explain how incredible our reception went. The staff here are so kind and so professional. They do an amazing job of working with you to create your vision for the event. I chose the Atkin Home for our reception. It was truly a dream come true (and more), the way it all came together. Guest after guest could not say enough about how much they loved the venue, and what a wonderful feeling was there. It was beautiful. More than I imagined to be possible. I will have the sweetest memory in my heart forever of what a beautiful evening my Love and our many loved ones shared together. I could not recommend this venue enough. And the value of what you pay is incredible as well. Check it out!

Petting Zoo to access to old buildings tour guide with train or trolley hiking all sorts of fun activities to do. Panning for gold is a must try an Halloween has fun trick or treat event that us a safe an fun place for younger children staff is awesome as well as the facilities are always nice

So much to do and see it's family friendly. The tram/ train goes around the park making it super easy to get anywhere you need to. Excellent food too.

Had a great day for our spring break outing. Lots of fun little activities for the kids to do. I wish they would have told us at the visitor center what the boxes on our bracelets was for at the beginning instead of finding out midway through. So the 3 boxes are for doing the different crafts. So we did the leather pounding, arrowhead necklaces & 1 craft at the hospital which one of my kids did the windchime and the other the spinner toy. The animals were cute and fun but there wasn't as many "babies" as I was expecting with all the fb posts made it seem like. But still fun to go hold the baby chicks and pet the goats, sheep & pig.

Give yourself plenty of time to go into all of the buildings/houses here, to read the plaques on the statues and at the places you visit, check out the shops, and visit the teepee to make an arrowhead necklace with your young ones. So much to do and so little time. Ride the train and right now (March thru May) visit the baby animals.
