The Sugar House Dentist - Theurer Family Dental

I was in a lot of pain and needed an emergency root canal. Dr. Eldredge was SO helpful! The whole staff made sure I was getting the care I needed as quickly as possible and were all very friendly. Dr. Eldredge did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable about the whole ordeal. I felt like he was taking his time to make sure the root canal was done in the best way possible. Definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY recommending to others!!

Terrible outfit. Incompetent billing department. They incorrectly submitted reimbursement to our dental insurance company. As a result the insurance would not pay the agreed upon amount. They erroneously documented that my husband had a deep plane cleaning done on all 4 quadrants during the same visit. Anyone who has ever had this done knows how ludicrous this is, yet they refuse to correct their mistake. Unfortunately the insurance company cannot simply take our word for it--although they believe the deep plane cleaning was done on 2 different visits since doing all 4 on the same visit violates the customary practice guidelines set forth by the American Dental Association. They have since turned the account over to a collection agency which has been a nightmare. My husband is terminally ill so you can imagine the unbearable stress and turmoil this is causing him and our family. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST--they are incompetent!!!

This was the most delightful experience I've ever had at a dentist's office! Everyone who works there is so kind and personable. I felt like I was catching up with old friends, even though this was my first time there. As much as I dislike being at the dentist, I'll admit I'm kind of looking forward to going back again. :) Great place!

Experts, sensitive, caring, gentle, and knowledgeable! These are all words I use to describe Dr. Theurer and his associates. Having moved around in my life I have had many experiences with a variety of dentists and Dr. Theurer is by far the best dentist I have ever experienced. A special shout out to Kate! She takes very good care of my dental hygiene.

Had a cosmetic mishap and my front veneer, which I had on for almost 5 years now came off. I looked up on yelp for an emergency dentist and the first place I found was this place. I was able to get in right away at around 8pm and by 8:45 the veneer was back on and my life was back to normal. I never knew a dentist like this exists. After looking into their work, I booked an appointment for my next cleaning and teeth whitening, which I was way over due for the cleaning. I'll be back for my cleaning and teeth whitening. Highly recommended dentist!!
