The Original Brooklyn Water Bagel Co.

We stopped in here last weekend. I was skeptical about how the bagels would be, but this is Boca (the unofficial sixth borough) so I held out some hope that it could be decent. I was excited to try the flavored iced coffee with the cubes made of java. There was a lot of caffeine in this beverage, so if you need a little something to wake up this should do the trick. I was pretty jittery for a while after leaving. Brooklyn Water Bagel also offers a couple of flavored creamers in addition to whole milk, half + half and almond milk. I had a plain bagel with butter and I thought it was quite good. My husband ended up with a whole plate of food, he enjoyed his meal and found the bagels to be satisfactory. We thought the food prices were about average, but the iced coffee was a little on the high side. This spot is also pet friendly. There is ample covered seating outdoors on the patio, so that is a plus for me. We had our little dog with us, so it worked out well. I'll definitely come back again to this location or another Original Brooklyn Water Bagel. I wish South Florida still had Bruegger's Bagels though. :(

I can't say this is the worst corned beef sandwich I ever had but it was pretty disappointing. In short NOTHING about this place (except maybe the bagels) is authentic New York. It's all imitation. The rye bread is soft like wonder bread, and the five ounces of meat tasted like what you would get in a supermarket, in other words, tasteless. The pickle looked like it came out of a jar and tasted mostly of vinegar. I wouldn't have complained except that the whole operation is built around the New York shtick. So my expectations were pretty high. Also, the staff was nice but VERY slow. I'm sure there are many tasty items here but the corned beef isn't one of them.

I've been there a couple times and I want to say that the food is great! I want to give a shout out to a very nice, helpful young black woman with red colored hair. I didn't catch her name, but she made the ordering experience so pleasant! :)

Excellent, excellent, excellent !!!!!! Reminds me of " Bagel Boss " on Long Island. Had a "Brooklyn Bagel Breakfast" sandwich that was awesome...and very friendly staff...they do it right.....they will be my goto place when in the Deerfield area.... THANX......😎😎😎

Excellent bagels and great quick bite with the kids. Easily accessible, and ADA compliant. A great taste of NY right here in South Florida.
