The Apartments at Cambridge Court

I have been here since December. I was so excited to move here, as the grounds seemed very well kept. I can say they are. In regards to quietness, it is quite quiet in the neighborhood at all times. However, we had issues from the very beginning. There has been about 4-5 times where we had no hot water/heat due to a faulty hot water heater. We also had a dryer that was broken. After complaining multiple times, they actually fixed it. Within the first month, all of these issues came up and it was very frustrating and not a great experience for tenants who JUST moved in. They replaced our hot water heater, but when the wind blows a little too hard, we are without hot water/heat. The hot water heater is placed in a closet on your patio that only maintenance can open, which is obviously annoying for issues whenever the hot water heater needs to be lit again. Waking up to a extremely cold home and no hot water to shower in when you have to be to work in an hour is a huge inconvenience and it has happened too many times, and has happened after the hot water heater was replaced. However, I appreciate them replacing the old hot water heater, as it hasn't been an issue AS much as it was. On top of this, gas is SO EXPENSIVE! We came from a neighborhood that was electric everything. The hot water heater uses gas for just about everything. The gas bill is constantly high, even if the heat is on low because it is also used for the dryer, hot water, and cooking appliances. On top of your electric bill, your gas bill will be atleast $100-$180 more, just for simple usage around the unit. Paying $300+ for a one bedroom home for gas & electric is absolutely ridiculous. I gave three stars because I appreciate how professional the staff is. I like living there minus all of the issues we have had. But the issues, plus the high gas bill every month deters us from wanting to live here any longer. The apartments are pretty nice. Only some are "luxury", but overall it is a pretty nice & safe neighborhood. Live here if you have a high budget for rent, utilities & water, as you will need a pretty high budget.

Disappointed, their was a PET stain in the middle of the carpet, which in most Apartments they would have upgraded the Carpet! They decided to go cheap and clean it. We were unable to view the Apartment before move in, after paying the required funds. There is paint on door handles, and other fixtures. The Washer and Dryer were unusable for two days, we had to spend $50.00 in the laundry to clean our items. The hot water tank had to be replaced. The screen door had a tear in the mesh. Door hinges were loose on the Kitchen cabinets, which created scrape marks on the wood; and stains were on the Stainless Steel Refrigerator! But, we were told that the Resident Services Manager verified that this Apartment was ready to Rent; he/she must have been Visually Impaired!! Keith Hughes 389 Attenborough Drive, 104

I recently moved in seem like a really nice place at 1st my biggest concern after reading the reviews was parking I was assured by the leasing staff that there was no issue with parking that they were aware of parking is a nightmare here I find myself having to park on the main road and walk to my building people parking in handicap spots that are not handicap cars parked over the line's taking up 2 spots. I had issues from day one that should have been addressed by maintenance I was told 3 separate times that they would come take care of things that need to be fixed still no one has showed up or they came and never fixed it I have pipes banging in my apartment at At all hours of the night waking me up constantly when people up stairs take showers Or even flush the toilet or run water extremely loud Maintenance was supposed to come for that and still have not came I got a call that they would be out to my apartment the next day I stayed home all day still nothing no one showed up . The class of people they have in this community is not what they say it is . People hanging outside of the buildings carrying on smoking weed being loud and disrespectful.There is nothing luxury about these apartments. Soon as my lease is up I'm gone..

Bad experience! My Dryer has not worked right from day one. Slap on repairs. My Electric Bill has not been under $210.00-Last Month was $352.44- this month was $279.00! My van has Been broken into and paint keyed. Cars in Handicap spaces, who are not handicap! Dog Poop not kept cleaned up, same residents! Smell of pot! Neighbors screaming fighting! WORST of all MOLD. For the amount of money you pay, this place is not worth it! I found Newer and Bigger places, $300.00 cheaper- with Utilities Included! I am Handicap and use a scooter, the Elevator stops working from time to time. My worst fear is getting out, in case of a Fire! The carpets do not stay clean because the OIL from the parking lot gets on the shoes and stains the carpeting. My unit has all old cabinets and appliances. The noise from the Freeway is terrible. PLEASE don't rent here!

Been here for two weeks and I absolutely LOVE IT. My building is very quiet. No loud neighbors. Most of my neighbors are friendly. Safe and quiet community. Leasing office staff is “ok”. Connie wasnt the best. Instead of providing me with a tour, she just gave me the keys to view apartments myself. I’ve referred a few of my friends, who are PROFFESSIONALS to Cambridge. Two of them changed their mind after speaking with Connie. HOWEVER, Sara, who is the property manager seems to be extra helpful and sweet. I told my friends to just communicate with her instead because the community is great. So far so good!!!
