ShopRite of Whitman Plaza

Ordered a cake as well as 36 cupcakes of a theme. When I went to pick them up the cake was uneven and not the color I wanted. And I only received 24 cupcakes. Did not like the way it looked at all. The cake nor cupcakes weren’t secure either. It slid back and forth during ride home so the edges were smashed. And she gave them to me like that. Only thing good was the taste of it. Would show a picture but I’m too embarrassed by how it looked.

This store is the worst!!! Rude go into deli department 20 minutes prior to close to get cheese and told closed!! With an attitude!! I will never shop in that store again same girl with the same attitude had seen her spoke to before by a male manager and apparently keeping her as they can’t keep employees people won’t work in a place with this behavior now I won’t even shop there! I will happily pay more any place else but go home happy and satisfied!! Wish I could give less then 1 star

The big family pack of 80% of ground beef the butcher is putting old brown meat in the middle of outside good meat and we love ShopRite you should talk to the butcher this is the 2nd time we do our shop buy home

I really love this ShopRite and I hesitated before I decided to submit this review but today was the second time this happened. I needed assistance and tried to get the attention of an employee and he totally ignored me. First incident was maybe a month ago. Today it happened again and then I realized that it was same employee that ignored me before. I said to myself maybe he’s deaf. I went on doing my shopping and ended up in the aisle where he stocks the bread items. A lady of a different color asked him for help and he immediately answered and gave extra conversation. I said oooohhhh he’s racist and I’m hoping he heard me. I don’t like accusing anyone of this but it’s quite obvious. Perhaps the management doesn’t even know he does this so I will definitely bring it to their attention when I return and if It’ it happens again. Luckily the other employees helped me out but when you have a bad hip and knee it’s a hassle walking looking for someone else to help.

Always neat,clean and fully stocked. No long check out lines and no cars lined up across entryway.

I’ve been going to this shop rite regularly for almost 3 years. The employees are consistently pleasant and courteous, and the prices are very fair. I love the selection or produce and plant based options.

A well organized store to get all needed items and we r happy to explore a substitute king arthur whole wheat flour for Indian chakki flour. Apart this so many other healthy options of stone ground grains store and it also has Indian basmati rice which is a plus.

Best supermarket in the area. Acme on front street are clueless and rude, and on 11th and Reed never has anything anymore 2 stars because Betty Rizzo from Grease works morning shift at the self checkout and only asks people of color if they have 25 items or less. People of no color walk by with more than that but Betty only sees color
