I had a gum graft surgery with Dr. Kissel this summer. I was given localized numbing shots that were small and effective. I appreciated how Dr. Kissel explained each step of the surgery and called to follow up the evening following the procedure. The staff has also been so helpful -- my insurance has been difficult to work with but Viviana has kept following up on my behalf in order to make sure the insurance has received everything they need to process my claim. I am so happy I chose NYC Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

I have had two extractions and two implants performed by Dr. Kissel with almost zero post-operative discomfort. Dr Kissel uses conservative surgical techniques, the latest technology, and his own expertise to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. You can also expect him to call you at home that evening to make sure you are doing ok.

Tooth became badly infected and coincidentally, a sister had the same issue about two years earlier. She felt pain and discomfort during the procedures. My experience with Dr. Kissel was somehow completely pain free both during the procedures as well as never experienced any pain after the procedures. Given the depth of the infection it's remarkable. I highly, highly recommend that you at least see Dr. Kissel for a consult and even more strongly recommend seeing him especially for more involved procedures.

Dr. Kissel and his entire team were exemplary. I came in with an implant complication, a budget and years of bad dentist experiences and the team here took great care. Dr. Kissel took the time to talk me through my options, he gave me realistic expectations and explained all possible outcomes. He recommended a conservative yet effective treatment path that meant the least amount of time in the chair and cost consciousness. He even spoke regularly with my standard dentist to determine my best course of action. You just don’t find docs like this anymore. Dr. Kissel is fantastic! He did a microsurgical gum grafting for me two years ago which went smoothly with great results. He did two dental implants for me yesterday and I feel great today! He is a fantastic periodontist. Thanks to his high technology processes, the procedures are as easy and painless as they can possibly be.
