We've been visiting the State of Tennessee for the past 2 weeks and it had been a great experience until we arrived to Santas. We met the most ignorant bearded pig/doorman I have ever met and I have travelled half the world. He refused entry to my Girlfriend who is 56 and never tasted an alcoholic drink in her life because she had no ID with her. We are from Ireland and she had no idea that an ID was required to go and drink a non alcoholic drink in a bar. I was going to have a beer and had my ID with me. We have visited several bars from Pigeon Forge to Memphis, including several Nashville bars and she was never asked for an ID. SANTA'S GO TO HELL.. Lots of great bars around Nashville.

Believe the hype, this place is great. There’s an atm outside. We went on a Saturday, and the cover was $5. When you first walk in to the double-wide, you may take a step back to look at each other and wonder why you’re there. Just grab a drink and get ready to sing the night away. Their drink selection is extremely minimal... like 8 beer selections, no wine, no liquor.

I have given Santa's Pub many chances now and I am officially done with this place. While I have had a great time with friends on a weekday, I have literally been singled out for the pettiest reasons. Especially by the old lady behind the bar on weekends. Case in point was just last night. After getting elbowed in the head repeatedly by a guy standing right behind my chair, I finally asked him to stop. He started to actually yell at me, so I got up just in case I had to defend myself. He also had his friends with him. As I was explaining what was happening to a decent young bar back, the old lady came over and told me to leave. No questions or inquiry into the incident of any kind. The 5 white guys and 2 girls got to stay as I (the single Latino veteran) was told to leave or they we're calling the police. There was no violence or extreme commotion of any kind mind you. So I am done. I can find a decent karaoke place to have a good time where I can actually bring a water onstage, with a smoke if I want, and actually say "Damn" onstage. Remember, there's a big sign on the stage that says, No Drinks, No Smoking, and No Cussing Onstage. That aside, I am just tired of being singled out. Once for cussing when I wasn't on the stage. And my friend was the one that actually said the cussword. And told her so. It didn't matter to her though.

This place is pretty fun if you like to sing karaoke or just like inexpensive beers. Sometimes there is a cover at the door. Warm and friendly crowd no matter how bad you are at singing. Just don’t swear or cuss on stage or you’ll get kicked out!

If it weren't a war cloud of smoke I'd give a better review. Unfortunately, I had to leave my jacket outside to fumigate for days after. If you're a smoker and want a unique experience this is your place.
