Midcity Wax + Spa

I swear by this spa and I swear by my wonderful esthetician! I've been a client of Suzie's for about 2 years now. She is personable and professional individual who always makes me feel like I'm right at home. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a clean, relaxing, and comfortable environment!

Had my lashes tinted by Suzie today. So in love with them! I also thought the spa was exceptionally clean. Suzie is wonderful to chat with and the process was quick and easy. 5 stars all around!

Clean, trustworthy, detail oriented. Top 3 waxes I've had in this country tbh. Lauren is a delight and really good at what she does. I've only done wax services so far but am willing to try more there. Great spot!

Lauren is fantastic! Her technique for brow waxing is gentle, and lacks the harshness and pain of hot waxing. She works carefully in small sections and takes her time, and I generally feel little more than the sensation of pulling regular scotch tape from my skin. The best experience I've had with waxing anywhere, ever. Lauren is also centered, friendly, and personable, which is a very nice added bonus. So thankful that I stumbled across this place!

This was super great experience! I was greated at the door with a friendly smile and immediately felt like it was a safe and clean space. The waxing itself was as comfortable as can be expected. I felt like Zia was super knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. Great conversation as well!

Got a relaxing enzyme facial with pore extractions, and Lauren was a pro. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Their price was competitive. I ended up paying the same amount as other spas, but only after tipping too. The location was convenient.

I come here for waxing because 1 The facility is clean without feeling institutional 2 theres always ample parking 3 to support local small business 4 they have very affordable prices 5 the owner, Suzie, is fast while still paying attention to detail, she's relaxed and welcoming and her work is the best. I don't usually write reviews for businesses but Ive been to other places in the city for waxings and they all pale in comparison. Come here for waxing. You won't regret it.

Suzie Riggs. Wow! Midcity wax and spa is my favorite place to have Brazilian waxing done. They are skilled and comfortable. I have been all over this city for this. Been to woodhouse spa twice. They are very good but nothing like midcity. Then I had Susie. She is the most skilled I have ever been a clientele of. The waxing was the least painful ever. The tweezing kind of hurt but now I know why. Smoother than ever before. Wow is she good. I will ask for her personally from now on...Suzie Riggs is her name. The best ever!
