Madewell

Horrible manager works here who clearly lacks EQ. There were signs everywhere that said no food or drink allowed so my kids and I respectfully put our drinks on the window sill. I browsed the store for less than 10 minutes and then our drinks were promptly thrown away. The manager quickly defended herself saying that unattended drinks are thrown away which tells me this isn’t the first time she’s done this. I understand if they were left there for hours but for 10 minutes?? We should’ve have just kept our drinks in hand. It’s not like the stuff here is worth thousands of dollars…and unless they serve food there we should be able to walk wherever we want with our drinks. The experience was so off-putting that probably won’t shop here for a very long time.

Personally I really love the brand Madewell. Their products are always good quality and their styles are mostly appealing to me. I tend to prefer more classic styles with a modern twist and I think many of Madewell's items fit that. I love their leather goods and like that if ordered online you can have them monogrammed with 3 letters. I also am a fan of their jewelry, I own much of it and with the proper care it keeps well for years. Their customer service is really great and their in store service is also excellent. Overall I think they live up to their name and the location in the Galleria did as well.

The clothing and merchandise are great, however I have had a couple of bad experiences with the staff. Both of the times I have went to the store in the past week someone has acted with an eye of judgement. I don't appreciate my sister and I being followed around the store as if we were thieves. Also what makes matters worse is getting dirty looks from them and being pointed at. I left after buying merchandise both times, so I definitely wasn't there to steal.

I had a nice lady help me with fittings and recommendations. I love the style and the casual vibe of all their clothes. I love the denim jeans- i got one that was flattering and trendy— cant find the same in other brands. Thats why this is my go to place for denim. Got an oversized/ boxy cropped cashmere top and it looks so cute on me. I love my purchases. Minus one star for the price tag. If you are a teacher, first responder or a nurse- ask for discount at checkount. Youre welcome.

The staff were great. They gave my friend an expert recommendation and she left with something unexpected but perfect for her. The couch was a comfy place to sit with the baby while she shopped. I never felt rushed or unwelcome sitting there.

I love Madewell as a whole, which is why I continue to patronize the brand. However, I've noticed that the staff here never acknowledges my presence when I shop here. This has been the case every time I've visited the store. I've even tried greeting them upon arrival, since they refuse to speak to me. On my most recent visit, I decided that I'd shop online only, as it's disheartening to watch the staff greet and assist other patrons, and totally ignore me.

It was my first time shopping at a madewell the other day when I was looking for jeans and one of the associates went above and beyond about explaining how the different styles would fit my body. She looked at them as I tried them on and made more suggestions about sizing and brought me other products. She was amazing and I appreciated her help so much I wish I could remember her name

I love this store- been shopping here for years for all my basics! The best part about it is the staff- Ashley, Yahaira, & Rochelle are most helpful and always honest. They have never lead me wrong and always treat me like a vip! Thank you to these girls for keeping me dressed and keeping me from making wrong choices!
