Lutheran Church of Hope

I look forward to every Sunday service at Hope! I travel from Marshalltown to spend Sundays with my son. Our day always begins with Hope! It is so comforting to watch my son enjoy going to church. He is starting to get involved in Alpha. I can't wait to see what God has planned for his future. Thank you to Mike, Jeremy and all the wonderful pastors and staff at Hope! You do an amazing job leading people to Christ!

If you don't feel up to going to the Big church, try listening to a podcast. Try different pastors. We all have our favorites that really speak to us, but each has their own style and some will resonate with you more than others. This church is always available for everyone.

Love this church. My husband and I visited many others when we moved to the area a few years ago and always kept coming back to Hope. The pastors and their messages have really inspired us to activate our faith beyond Sunday morning. There are many opportunities to get involved in big and small ways. It can be intimidating to attend a large church, but the smaller group ministries throughout the week are a great way to get connected; eventually it starts to feel like a tight-knit community. Not having many friends when we were new to Des Moines, we are very thankful to have gotten connected to a Life Group of three other couples.

Beautiful place to worship the Lord, and place to take yours children... children learn a lot about the word of God and help them grow up with love and peace in Jesus Christ .

This is a HUGE, beautiful church. My cousin Brian had his wedding ceremony here in 2018. The staff is friendly and it is a great place to worship our Lord and pay tribute to our savior Jesus Christ.
