Lutheran Church of Hope Ankeny

We visited last Saturday night and were impressed by how welcome we felt. The quality of music and preaching was right up there with the best! Update: We continue attending a couple years later. Virtually every message uses video clips and lasts about 40-45 minutes. That's usually 15-20 minutes longer than my attention span. I also get tired of seeing the videos. We do continue attending, though not every week as we were previously accustomed.

My first visit here. I enjoyed the upbeat music, the sermon was wonderful, I appreciate the gluten free communion and I missed liturgy

The Holy Spirit was present today as the Gospel was shared...there's room for more, just keep moving forward with the Good News!

What a wonderful place. I've always felt at home here. Through the good and horrible times in my life I can say this church has always been there for me. I'm constantly inspired by the words and music I hear here. I'm challenged to be better, and live a life that bears witness to my faith in Christ. While there is a focus on families and children, there are a ton of ways to be connected at Hope Ankeny, for everyone. Things for the middle aged, for example are the Pastors Bible Study on Wednesday nights, and everyone can deepen their faith through Alpha, and Core. This church is more than a building, it's truly a church of committed Christians looking to reach out to the world around them. Come take a look and see all this church has to offer. It's home for me, and it could be for you too.
