Little Tokyo Japanese Restaurant

This is not your average Japanese Express place. Little Tokyo has perfected hibachi style everything. You can't go wrong with the menu! Best teriyaki and shrimp sauces of all the places I've been to. They make them in house and it truly sets them apart. You can't beat this place! Charlotte is lucky to have them!

1st time at this new restaurant, and was VERY happy with everything. We came early on a weekday, and was waited on quickly by an extremely friendly and attentive waiter missed his name. This is not your traditional Hibachi steak house where they prepare the meal in front of you and you sit with 4 other couples. I think I prefer it this way, without the show. Food was delicious and plentiful. I had the "Tokyo", which had a little of everything steak, chicken, scallops, shrimp, veggies. Highlight had to be the dessert...deep fried Oreos a first for me and a scrumptious cheesecake. Really appreciate the owner/cook taking the time to come out and speak with us. I have a feeling this will be a regular stop for us.

My wife and I decide to try this place out, to be honest with you I wish we did not. I hate to write these bad reviews but here goes another one. We placed our order with the delivery service they have, shortly later we received a phone call letting us know that they were out of egg rolls and if we wanted something else so we ordered crab Rangoon and guess what? Yup out of that to so I just said don't worry about it let's just get our meals. After the food arrived I was surprised to find a note on my wife's food saying " I'm sorry but we are low on scallops I'm adding extra shrimps, did not look like extra shrimp to me, that was my first and last time getting food from them. NEVER AGAIN!!! Here is the proof!!!!

This place is AWESOME! My family & I have been eating at the Albemarle locations for years. I highly recommend this restaurant hands down! You can't beat the lunch prices.

Google says they are open until 9 and their door says they are open until 9. So why is it that they're closed when I pull up at 8:15? Not even a note on the door to explain. Clearly they don't care about a customer's time. First and last time I attempt to eat here.

Tried ordering carryout after they left a flier at my apartment and after 15 min of calling multiple times no one even picked up the phone. Won't try ordering dinner from here again because it's not dependable.

Best hibatchi we have found. Great fresh veggies. Nice clean atmosphere. Service was also awesome. Highly recommend.

I love their food. I live 5 minutes away from there. Their prices are reasonable and they have great food.

Best Japanese Food ever!!! I love the shrimp sauce. It's creamy and sweet.
