Legends Dental Group and Orthodontics

I recently went to The Legends Dental and am blown away by the level of kindness and professionalism of this business. If you are like me and don’t tend to enjoy the whole cleaning process, go here! From the moment you walk in, you will feel valued and taken care of. Probably the friendliest front desk staff I’ve encountered. Additionally, I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable and personable Dr. Doshi is. She is clearly passionate about her profession and her patients by how much time she spends with her patients. Thank you for a great experience and I’m happy this is my dental home.

I had an OK experience with them. I originally went in for a cavity or three. They fixed them, then they issued the bad news. I needed a root canal. They did everything to the best of their abilities the first time. However the tooth that I paid a great deal of money for starts to come off one day at work. Yea I was covered through the warranty I bought on the tooth. But later they tried to get me to pay for the tooth that I just gotten confirmed that was fully replaceable. Once they found out that I was not gonna pay for the tooth that should be replaced for free because I paid for the extended warranty on it. They tried to up sell me and tell me I needed some type of special procedure. I said no, then they went to saying I needed a bridge. And I told them I’ll get that done by someone else, for now I need the tooth I paid you guys the warranty under to be taken care of. Great atmosphere, great people. But Below Average experience, I don’t recommend.

Nice place with modern equipment, people I dealt with are nice and resfectful. But for a year now, this facility seems to wanna do all kinds of dental work between my wife and I. I'm a retired military with continuous dental in Las Vegas, so my teeth are in good health. My first visit at Legends Dental, I was ask if I had deep cleaning done before. I said no, and they made it mandatory for me to do deep cleaning. I also had several coue of cosmetic done. Now my wife is being told she needed deep cleaning and other cosmetic...Very suspecious.. and not cheap. Also you need to know your coverage, they tried to charge me for things that are covered in my policy, like fluoride, and something else that I can't remember. They are very money motivated.. If money is a bit tight, this place may drive you mad. Prepare to spend money.

I've been going here almost 2 years now. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and wonderful people behind the counters, but when it comes to finances things start to get a little fishy. Sometime last year I looked forward to getting my wisdom teeth pulled and I was quoted $537 to get 4 teeth pulled (insurance covered a portion). I ended up waiting about 4 more months until I wanted to schedule the extraction. Once I went back to get the procedure done the quote changed and went up to $1,100. I was told it increased due to me not having much insurance coverage left at the end of the year so they recommended that I waited until January to get them pulled so I could have more coverage. So I decided to go back and now the quote has changed once again! This time it's up to $1,900. Now i'm being told that my insurance doesn't cover anything and that their coverage has changed and blah blah blah. Do your research before you go to these people. Don't get me wrong they are fantastic for just regular maintenance and cleaning, but once it comes to major procedures get ready to run into a lot of BS from the people behind those counters! *Update: Legends Dental was nice enough to contact me and correct my pricing afterwards. I still feel it was something unusual going on with them trying to charge me that from the jump. I think it was corrected once another dentist office contacted them requesting my exam information. I guess they didn't want to lose another customer. I still give this 4 stars because it was still a pain to get them to fix this.
