This guy is super nice, confident and eases the stress of going to court. He doesn’t judge you or lecture you. He’s an all around great guy who knows his job very well. His prices are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this man to rrepresent anyone in my family. I have the utmost respect for him.

I had a very tough case and I went to Mr. McEvoy for assistance, he talked me through my options and reassured me that he would do all he could. He worked very hard ever since to make my case have the best possible outcome. He was very prompt with my calls/messages and he communicated really well. The case I thought was going to be very bad on my record, he was able to get it dismissed! I would definitely recommend him for all your legal needs!

Attorney Bernie McEvoy is an exceptionally thoughtful and caring legal professional as well as an all around super nice human being. On Friday, April 27, 2018, Attorney Bernie McEvoy’s advocacy gave me my life back after a nightmarish year and a half. A highly respected Sumner County judge dismissed some very serious charges against me. In open court, the visibly angry judge ruled that certain members of the Hendersonville Police Department and members of the District Attorney’s office acted with “gross negligence”, “violated several of my constitutional rights” and “were prejudicial” in the handling of my arrest and attempted bogus prosecution. For those not familiar with the law, here’s the legal definition of gross negligence: “Gross negligence is a conscious and voluntary disregard of the need to use reasonable care, which is likely to cause foreseeable grave injury or harm to persons, property, or both. It is conduct that is extreme when compared with ordinary Negligence, which is a mere failure to exercise reasonable care.” Attorney McEvoy’s diligence, knowledge of the law and research abilities were praised by the judge during the motions to dismiss. When I retained Mr. McEvoy to represent me, he promised to give me the quality of representation that he would “give to his own son had he been charged with those crimes.” I can say that, he did! No one coerced me to write this review but I feel the need to recommend Attorney Mc. Bernie McEvoy to anyone needing very high quality legal representation. Bernie is very professional and informative. I unfortunately found my self in a little bit of trouble when I first moved to Nashville, he talked me through everything and made sure I was provided the best outcome. The first few lawyers I talked to acted like they were selling a car.. it was “this is your sentence” with out giving me a chance to even speak on my behalf. Bernie was the only one who let me explain my side and trusted what I had to say! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer.

I would highly recommend Mr. McEvoy if you are in need of a criminal defense attorney. He was prompt and efficient in communicating and knowledgeable regarding our legal issue. Mr. McEvoy achieved a successful outcome. Also, his fees are reasonable compared to other attorneys.
