Landmark Apartments

This property is TERRIBLE. I moved in at the end of August and loved it. Soon after I began to see ants and mice. These apartments are infested with mice. I have been placed on an extermination list for the past 5 months and there seems to be no solution and they will not allow you to break the lease. Mentally I can not deal. Office staff will not do anything but continue to put me on the list. In addition, electricity bills are extremely high. Don’t waste your time.

I dont usually leave review but in this particular case I will! I wish I could put no star. Everything you read about the bad reviews is true! The good comments you see on here are probably people working there. LIES !!! For your own sake just find somewhere else to live even if you have to add a few more bucks.

Where do I began?! I wish I could post pictures just to show you guys who are considering renting here just how purely trifling Landmark Apartments are. Thinking about living here? DON’T. If you like being ate up by bed bugs & fighting off roaches and mice then more power to you. All the leasing agents here post positive reviews and name drop their own names to try to get you to come in!! The get pay bonus based on how many applications they get approved. All the crappy reviews on here are the real deal. Your electricity bill will be SKY HIGH. You WILL have your car and your home broken into. Don’t even consider getting a package delived cause it will be stolen. Don’t buy new furniture cause that will be the bedbugs New home. My third night here I cut on my light and saw 12 roaches scaling my refrigerator. Call the leasing office and I promise you they won’t care. They already got your money. I’m writing this because this place should be condemned and I sincerely do not want anyone to go through what I’m going though. Also, don’t walk to the metro. Someone was killed and raped on the path.

I hate to have to give even ONE STAR. This is my second review of this place. Before I left I had a bed bug infestation and had to throw all my furniture away. All positive reviews on here are LIES! You know it’s a lie when someone says “ leasing agent so and so we’re so helpful!” LIES. PLEASE DON’T RENT HERE. They are liars. That’s why they are always running rent specials. There are so many nicer more affordable apartments in the area. Please I beg, don’t move here. They have ROACHES, MICE, BREAK-INS, ect. The model unit looks NOTHING like the apartment they will give you. Beware of the property manger Myra. You can tell she hates doing her job by how long it takes for her to get back to you. These are the ultimate SLUMS!! Don’t waste your hard earned money on these apartments.

I’m back again to help others NOT make the same MISTAKE I did. Don’t say it won’t happen to you because that’s what I did. Please don’t waste your time sending an email to the address that responds. All they are going to do is try and buy you with a gift card. No one here cares about your living conditions, it’s not them. My heat still doesn’t work correctly, and my washing machine, well it floods my kitchen. The maintenance men don’t ask questions when they come to work on your home. How can you do work without troubleshooting? When I try to explain to them, they want to tell you it’s your fault some how, further they get irritated. Don’t get mad at me, get mad at the people you work for, for not providing you with the proper tools to work, which includes trained employees. I’m so fed up with this place. It’s been a bad experience since day 2 of living here. Mind you I’m about to pay my rent for the second time, and I’m almost ready to put my rent in an Escrow account, and not care about how it may inconvenience me. I’d rather do that then pay Quest. I’m still waiting to find out if/when I’m going to get my heat and washing machine fixed. I guess I need to contact landlord tenant or consumer relations because Landmark Apartment’s are run but Quest the SLUMLORD! BUYER BEWARE!!!! I wish I could give ZERO STARS hell, NEGATIVE STARS!
