UPDATE: What I say in my EDITED original review is still essentially true. BUT BE WARNED: If you buy Audio Equipment from JUST AUDIO and it proves defective through no fault of your own the only stated recourse is STORE CREDIT so you are locked into buying, "Substitute Replacement Item(s) or Services from JUST AUDIO ONLY!" I'm NOT saying this is a good or bad policy each customer makes up their own mind. I'm just giving you FAIR NOTICE of their STORE CREDIT ONLY policy EVEN IF you buy BROKEN ITEMS SOLD TO YOU SOLELY ON THEIR ASSUMPTION THEY WERE FULLY FUNCTIONAL AT TIME OF SALE! I encountered this situation & associated REGRESSIVE PUNITIVE STORE CREDIT ONLY POLICY & don't want others caught in this trap. The folks are nice the store credit only policies are NOT! THE AUTISTIC WEREWOLF'S VERDICT ON JUST AUDIO THESE ARE GOOD PEOPLE BUT JUST BE WARNED OF THIS VERY REGRESSIVE STORE CREDIT ONLY POLICY AND SHOP ACCORDINGLY. There was no sales pressure at all. I was directed to the stereo receivers I liked. When I had a question staff was more than happy to answer all my questions. I'm autistic so buying anything is usually a challenge but not here. My buying experience could not have been more pleasant. The staff worked hard going that extra mile to insure everything they could do to help me was done with a smile.

I just started getting into records and vinyl audio equipment. Thank goodness the guys at Just Audio understood my novice level and guided me through the way and really understood the sound and profile I was trying to make with the select equipment I already had. They didn't try and oversell anything to me and they taught me a lot of what not to do with my purchase. 100% recommend this company that is looking for a purchase from a reputable and knowledgeable establishment.

If someone were to ask why I would give Just Audio a 5-Star rating, the main reason would be customer service. Lately, it seems like we live in a world where the customer isn’t always right and that satisfaction isn’t guaranteed. Just Audio and their friendly staff still believes in this. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable in audio equipment, both modern and vintage. What they don’t know, they will find out for you. They also have the ability to bring old equipment back to life. I have heard countless stories about people having their equipment serviced by Just Audio with rave reviews. I have also been recommended Just Audio from others for my questions about repairs. I have also recommended them numerous times to others. I love the Mom & Pop shop feel of the place. Plus, there really aren’t many repair shops like this in the area. Aside from repairs, they are also a reseller of equipment. There is a storefront area at the front of the store where you can purchase anything from speakers, turntables, receivers, etc. Sometimes parking can be tricky but there are a few metered spots right out front of the shop.

I have a 1973 Pioneer SX-727 receiver. Just Audio repaired a minor issue and checked for problems specific to the unit due to age as well. Everyone was great to work with, especially Ed, their senior technician who did the work expertly and treated my receiver like it was his own. I heartily recommend Just Audio to anyone with vintage stereo equipment that needs repairs, modifications, or other vintage equipment to go with it. They have a great selection of used gear right at the shop.

The repair of my old Pioneer legacy equipment was great. They were not able to repair my old DT-510 Digital Timer because the parts are no longer available. But the repair of the amp and my dual tape-deck makes my stereo stack alive again. I am so glad that I didn't just give this stuff away. Don't be in a hurry - Just Audio has a lot of customers and they have a backlog. So be patient. It will be worth it. It is so nice to have my stuff working again. The communications with Holly and other staff were excellent. So, if you have an ancient integrated system of various components and you want it working again, Just Audio is your place to get it fixed. Mike Shelton Stafford, VA
