Irish Bred Pub & Restaurant

Overall fine. We went here for my aunt's birthday because they had live music. The music was pretty good I'd say, so there's that. Our waiter was friendly and gave suggestions, but service was overall rather slow. I got the fish and chips, and while it was fine tasting, the batter on the fish was a bit greasy and left my fingers slightly sticky. One main issue I had was with their meatloaf, when my aunt got it it was spongy but at the same time tough. However, on a more positive note, the appetizers were delicious! I'd probably go here again, but I don't live in this area so I can't make any promises.

Best Irish Meatloaf on the planet! Awesome beer, great bar, excellent service. I could have stayed all night. Fish n chips are on point! Great fresh chips app with blue cheese. French onion soup is delightful! Really warmed us up on a very cold night. We'll be back for sure!

Great food for the price. A more economical option to the nearby Mystic Grill. My $12 shepherd's pie was unique and tasty. My wife's $10 bourbon glazed chicken sandwich was tasty overall, but the chicken was far too sweet. We both had leftovers. The upstairs balcony gives a great view of quaint downtown Covington, but the furniture is perplexingly uncomfortable. Also noteworthy is that this was some of the best service we've ever gotten, and it sounded like the same was true for the nearby tables.

This is a fantastic place. I will definitely recommend it. The food is fresh and hot. The service is great. Try it, you'll like it.

The food was really good and the bartender at the upstairs bar was excellent. The folks here were very kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back!
