Freak'N Brewing Company

I stopped in once 3 years ago for an unimpressive visit. I drank one beer - it was alright. The mood/vibe was kind of dead; like being in a library. Based on the reviews I figured I just caught them on a bad night, so I tried them again a few months ago. I wasn't sure what time they opened so I just drove by. The front door was wide open - literally. So I walked in. The two women standing at the counter stopped talking and just stared at me without saying a word. That was uncomfortable and awkward so I decided to go first and asked, "Are you open?" That seemed to stump them. They stopped staring at me and stared at each other, confused, for what seemed like an abnormally long time. Then one hesitantly stammered, "No" and they both went back to staring at me. I waited a second to see if there was more they wanted to add to that helpful response. There wasn't so I decided to try and drag a little more info out of them. "What time DO you open?" I inquired. "At three" was the response. I looked at my phone - it was 10 minutes to 3:00. I said, "Okay, I'll be back!" They just continued to stare without a word - so I left. I lied..... I didn't go back.

This is a great brewery. They have really solid beers. No food, but you can bring in your own if you'd like. There are a few places in the area that will deliver. The staff is super friendly and informative about their beers. They do full growler and half growler fills too. The only downside is that it gets really hopping inside and it's a small place, so it gets really tight in there!

We did a sampler flight and all the beers we tried were great. Really liked the hazelnut stout on nitro! Very smooth! Place was a little hard to find because google maps sends you behind the building and not to storefront and kind pinpoints it in alley. It’s on the corner along storefront side of the building.

Excellent beer. The Dopplebock and double dirty blonde are top notch. Highly recommended

Delicious beer, great service, small but personal space makes this a great chill spot. And delicious beer.
