Florida Theatre

The Florida Theater is a great venue. The acoustics are great, and it is your classic "theater". If your into older architecture it's amazing. It still has the traditional carved proscenium Arch. The seats are comfortable and not jammed closer together by some bean counter. Definitely one of my favorite places to see a show. Try it, you'll like it.

The Florida Theater has great acoustics, but they don't have a way of engaging the crowd in nosebleed seats. The arch is too high for people at the top of the theatre to be present in the experience. If they could find a way to incorporate modern technology into the performance, they might have a better shot at getting more business. There is the historic preservation that they don't want to ruin, but people are becoming increasingly conscious of the ways they choose to spend their money. I have been invited by friends and paid to see several events from a variety of angles, but the visual experience isn't the same in the balcony beyond the first 5-10 rows on the upper decks.

Absolutely stunning inside! Gorgeous theatre, very friendly staff. Great view from any seat. Very reasonable drink prices, however I’m not sure if that varies based upon performer

I had a great time watching the rising stars. Some great acts gave their all for this event. I can't wait to see next year's activities. Also, there were a silent auction, drinks, and food before the actual event began. I was able to network too.

FLORIDA THEATRE LOVE IT I LOVE HOW THEY BROUGHT THE GET THE LED OUT THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SHOW ALL MY GOSH LET ME TELL YOU AGAIN GET THE LED OUT IF YOU'VE NOT SEEN IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING SHOW EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER BUT COULD THEY AT LEAST PUMP THE AIR UP SOME FROM THE SMOKE AND THE SMOKE COMING FROM THE BOTTOM I FEEL LIKE IT'S LIKE NICOTINE HEAVEN THAT'S COMING IN THERE AND SO ALWAYS DO THE BALCONY JUST FOR THAT PURPOSE BUT ANYHOW I WISH THEY WOULD TURN THE AIR UP BECAUSE IT'S ALWAYS SO HOT IN THERE BUT ANYHOW OTHER THAN THAT GET THE LET OUT IF YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THEM THEY'RE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FIRST TIME SEEING THEM AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I WILL BE BACK TO SEE THEM GREAT SHOW
