I come here every time I’m in Jackson. Potato soup is delicious. Fish & chips are great. Staff and bartenders are super friendly. Thorough and authentic Irish whiskey selection. Highly recommend

-This place is full of locals and people passing through.. but it always feels like family. Love this bar. The food is on point and the drinks are great. Great prices and wonderful service.

Met up with a few foodies today for lunch at Fenians! I got the Thursday special, hamburger steak with mash potatoes. The mashed potatoes was creamy, just the right amount of butter. Everyone at the table got to try my mash and loved it! This was my first time having mash and slightly cooked kale, I really enjoyed the texture combo! I think I want my mash with kale from now on. The hamburger steak was nicely seasoned with a hint of sweetness from the caramelized onions. I didn't know that I can request my hamburger steak to be cooked medium, so it was made well done and a hair tough, but now I know. The technique on how to make a scotch egg is a tad tricky to get right. They got that baby down. Yolk was still runny, had just the right amount of sausage, fried crispy without overcooking the yolk, but thoroughly cooking the sausage. It's like breakfast in one bite! The ladies that ordered the curry really enjoyed it, I got to try some, and it was good. It had some Indian spices in it, but very faint. I didn't taste any heat, but I have no sense when it comes to spicy, the ladies said it was mild. We all got to try the fish n chips. Cod was fresh, the fry on the fish and chips were spot on, but just needed a hint of salt.

Excellent service! We had the Irish poutine for an appetizer- delicious! If you like cheesy goodness, then give it a try. I had the Bangers and Mash for my entree upon the recommendation of the waiter - he was spot on, DELICIOUS. The Irish sausage was perfectly seasoned, the mash and vegetables were a perfect compliment to the sausage. I was going to try the bread pudding, but was stuffed. I will definitely stop back in next I am in Jackson. Highly recommend.

This is a long time Jackson business. It is said to be an authentic Irish pub. Being that Im not Irish nor have I been to Ireland I couldn't say. I do know I've always heard they have good food Irish and American. Good customer service and decent prices.
