East Pearl Restaurant

We have recently made some short trips on the weekends to try authentic Chinese restaurants and East Pearl was the cream of the crop. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and took home enough food for a few more meals. The soup with the side order of red pork was especially good. (N7 on menu) I posted pictures of the delicious food we enjoyed along with menu numbers to make it easier to find. Very good/excellent food. Favorites include roast duck, kingdom pork chops and walnut shrimp. However, at times can be challenging to park. Liquor store next door will tow cars from in front of their store.

Food - is just okay. Won't give you a wow factor. Customer Service is just bad - Asian friends have already forewarned us that the servers there are very rude. We didn't listen and eventually experienced it in person including via phone call. When we asked them questions about the food and stuff, they just appear impatient and the attitude is very rude. Very bad attitude. Not recommended.

Came here on a Sunday for dinner at about 6pm. It was super crowded. We had about a 10 minute wait. It thins out after the dinner rush. Food was delicious. Not a healthy dish in sight!

Nice little gem in a place you wouldn't expect to find a good restaurant. Really excellent selection of dishes that tasted really good and were reasonably priced. It doesn't look like it from the outside, but the restaurant is a lot bigger on the inside than I expected. Will be back next time I'm in Rockville.
