Danny's Cycles - North Stamford

Absolutely fantastic place! Earlier in the day my rear tire suffered a complete blowout during a lunch ride. I gave these guys a call because, for me, they are very conveniently located right of The Merritt on my commute home and, ideally, I was looking to get the bike back up and running for the following day. They close at 6pm; I arrived at 5:40pm. Within 10 minutes they'd not only replaced the inner tube and fitted a new tire but also tuned my wheel alignment. I left feeling extremely satisfied at not only having my puncture promptly repaired and a new tire fitted, but also the extra mile in tuning the alignment. All within 1/4hr of them closing. Absolutely no fuss. Positively brilliant guys! I can thoroughly recommend this place to anyone else.

Great service. Nice staff. Kevin, the head mechanic really knows his stuff. I have had some custom builds from them and they turned out perfect. They host a weekly ride in the summer evenings which are fun for riders at any level. Like any bike shop there can be a wait for repairs, especially in the spring and summer but they do a good job of telling you how long or quick it will be. I have not found their stuff to be any more expensive than other shops and they often mark down older high end models a few times a year or at the start of a new season so you can get a really good deal on a great bike. One of the few shops I trust with my vintage road bikes and they are particularly good at mountain bike sales and service.

Customer service was good... sort of... I dropped my bike off late last year and scheduled a "premium tune" service with chain replacement... after waiting almost 2months, I got my bike back, all I noticed was the chain replacement! I went for my first ride this season and had the same difficult shifting (premium tune supposed to included gear adjustment plus a lot more! ), don't waist your money here! You'll get ripped off!
