College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving

Our experience with College Hunks was outstanding from beginning to end. They conducted a brief, convenient in-home assessment the morning after we called for estimates. They scheduled our packing and moving dates within the tight timeframe we needed to adhere to and were quick, efficient, personable, professional, and just an absolute pleasure to work with at each stage of our experience. We honestly thought our experience couldn't have been more exceptional with our service coordinator and moving team. But then we received the final invoice. And it was several hundred dollars lower than the already reasonable estimate we'd been given! College Hunks made our move effortless AND saved us a sizable amount of money. I'll never use another moving service as long as I've got this company to go to.

Easily the best guys in town for the job! They were so nice and fun to talk to, got the job done in half the time I expected, showed up exactly when they said they would, and moved everything across town in the rain with zero damage to my stuff! Not to mention easily the best price in Nashville. Love these guys!

Kevin and Mike were amazing on my move! They showed up on time and got right to work. They made sure that all of my items were protected by wrapping them in blankets and moved everything very carefully while also being quick and efficient. They were also just plain fun to be around and we laughed all afternoon with them! I can't recommend College Hunks enough - they made my move so easy and painless! Kevin and Mike, THANK YOU!

This is my $50.00 review. On Monday, April 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM, I called the College Hunks to ask about pricing and availability. I went ahead and scheduled a move for Saturday, April 14, 2018, and gave my credit card information for a $50.00 deposit. Later that afternoon, I had a family crisis that would prevent me from moving that coming Saturday so I called to cancel (exactly 9 hours later). The lady on the phone told me the $50.00 deposit was not refundable! OK so I figured I would change the move for a couple of weeks later. The next day, I get an email from the Hunks offering me insurance for the upcoming move. I was surprised they were offering me insurance since I thought they were insured to begin with. When I called to find out they gave this example - “If a dresser weighing 50 pounds and valued at $1,000.00 is damaged, the carrier maximum liability would be $30.00 (50lbs x.60 ₵ = $30)”. In other words, if they dropped my $2,200 ultra-thin 37Lbs Samsung TV, I would get 37lb x 60¢ = $22.20 to buy a new one. Then, I was offered two options a $100 plan with a $100 deductible with a maximum total they would pay of $1,000 (this plan would not cover my TV). The second option is the $200 plan with a $100 deductible with a maximum total they would pay of $2,000 (this plan would also NOT cover my TV or any of my other valuables). As I was talking to Joe the Hunk, I kept staring at their logo that clearly says “College Hunks Moving” I realized at that moment that my only option was to call a professional moving company. Not the College Hunks that only do this part-time to make money while they graduate. Unless they are regular guys playing movers disguise as hunks??? At any rate, make sure that when you give your credit card number for the deposit they are going to keep your deposit no matter if you need to cancel a minute later. This concludes my $50 review. ----- In response to your response. OK HUNKS = H.U.N.K.S (Honest.Uniformed.Nice.Knowledgeable.Service)Where does the College fit in?? You missed the point! You kept my $50.00 for no reason. I’m sure that taking the time to respond to my post cost you more money and time that the $50.00 you got from me.

Our team was on time, friendly and didn’t mind hard work! They were extremely professional and didn’t mind doing multiple tasks of moving various items around our home. They were careful with our walls and our furniture and even wrapped our glass cabinet. They made sure all tasks were done to our satisfaction before they left, even suggested that things be centered, etc. I truly couldn’t have been happier, the price we paid was a bargain, considering all they did in such a short time, heavy lifting tasks that would be impossible for me. I highly recommend, and in the future, will not hesitate one bit to call when I need their help again!
