The Clearwater Nature Center is large for a nature center - but they tend to be small places; it is in a beautiful location among trees in a huge park. There is good hiking to be had on the trails nearby to explore the rest of the park.

In the nature center there are a variety of animals in healthy condition. None are difficult to see. Outdoors they have a number of birds of prey including owls, hawks, and even a bald eagle. 

Great way to spend a couple hours.

The map on your GPS will have trouble with the location. It is further down Thrift Road than the main entrance to the park. There is a sign for the nature center.

Edit: Google has now fixed the location.

Great little party room and animal show. Staff are caring and knowledgeable. The crow hasn't always been there and I look forward to visiting again when he has found another home. 😮

Been going here for as long as I can remember and now I take my two boys here and they love it.  They like the turtles and running around in the little cave area.
