Chompie's Catering

1st visit to this excellent 1st Class Jewish style deli located surprisingly in a suburb of Scottsdale Arizona. If it was in LOS Angeles or New York City it would be a city favorite. Excellent menu, food,service & baked goods. Try it you’ll like it !

I am always happy with a meal at Chompies! Although service varies by server, the food is of great quality with pleasantly varied fare. A person can eat kosher or not, and the bakery is decadent. A few things to remember are the day old bagel offerings by the bag at a discount, a military discount, and different specials or occasional menu items, so remember to all your server. The sandwiches are stacked high, soups are huge, and salads are a meal. I am there frequently enough that the host or hostesses recognize me, which is not hard, because they recognize regulars readily. The coffee is good, although there are not a lot of options. There are great options in cream cheese and bagels however. The corned beef hash is GREAT.

Worst service ever. Our food came before our drinks. Wanted to buy bakery items. There were several people behind the counter, one person at the register who moved extremely slow. We walked our without bakery items after waiting over 10 minutes with only 2 people ahead of us in line.

Jewish sliders are delicious!!! I only wish that the sliders could be mix and matched to try one of each, but other than that- this place is a win win all around! Be sure to get dessert at the counter on the way out!

Chompie's is the best place to get New York style deli food in Phoenix. The sliders are great. This particular location is my least favorite Chompies; the food was not as well prepared as other locations and the ambience was less appealing.
