Don't even waste your time. My family and I were not impressed. The only thing we ate were the wings. My husband and I both order the snapper which were salty. My oldest daughter had the wings which she liked and my youngest brown stew chicken which she didn't like. The brown stew chicken wasn't Jamaican at all... it was uhmm just no. The rice and peas, cabbage all of it was not good. We left and had to go back out to eat cause we were all hungry and thirsty.

Where do I start? I love this place! Been coming here for about a year and a half to get my Caribbean food fix. Usually I order to go, but today I decided to stop here for lunch because I had some time to kill. My go to meal is the Oxtail but everything I have had taste amazing. Including today's jerk chicken club! Eating in today, I had a chance to really appreciate excellent service, the island decor, and and Caribbean music to set the tone for the meal. Another thing I really like here is the homemade ginger pineapple drink. The sweetness of the pineapple mixed with the spiciness of the ginger is a perfect mix! Check it out when you make your visit here. Overall, this is a great restaurant if you are looking for traditional island cuisine. Also for those who care, they do offer a military discount. I guess I will end where I started. I love this place!
Soon come!

I was surprised that I hadn't heard of this place until I found it on yelp so I wanted to spread the word elsewhere. Really great ambiance, very bright, reggae music in the background, clean and pretty Caribbean colors. My friend is part Trini and I knew plantains would put him in a better mood so we came here. I got the garlic shrimp and pineapple ginger juice and he got the coco bread, meat patty and curry chicken. Everything was delicious. I honestly liked his dish a little bit more, but it was more saucy and had more flavor. I would have toned the salt level down a touch, but that's a me thing. Coco bread, so simple, but so yummy. Everyone else's dishes I saw also looked delicious and the plantains made me feel like I was back in Miami. Will be back!
Side note, you order at the register and then take a seat. They'll bring you the food!

Food is great and ambiance is great and clean. The owner is a very cool guy who offers great customer service. I like how they have many menu options. You can also have healthy and tastey food here along with naturally made smoothies. I would surely recommend if you are into well seasoned food.

I'm always looking for a good Jamaican restaurant when I travel and this was the closest to me in Alexandria, Virginia and it had promising reviews. Unfortunately it didn't exceed my expectations. I got the oxtail dinner plate with rice and peas, cabbage and a side of plantains. Cost $25. I thought ohhh it must be good for this price. Got back to the hotel opened up my plate and was shocked. 5 pieces if meat. I couldn't believe it. Way too skimpy for the price I paid. I used to live in georgia and the restaurant I frequented would have the box overflowing with meat for $18. But I hoped for the best...the meat was not tender at all and tough. Seasoned ok. The sides were good. The plantains were really good. So overall this place was a let down.
