We are a husband and wife run mobile food truck specializing in making delicious fish tacos at a convenient and affordable price. Now Opening a brick ASAP!

Story

Our goal is to provide a quick, healthy and tasty alternative for your "fast food" dining experience. With our clean fully equipped kitchen on wheels, we fresh cook and serve original California/Baja-style, crispy beer-battered fish tacos, blackened Ahi tuna as well as grilled chipotle lime seasoned Cod. All creations are topped with one of our 4 signature sauces. We pride ourselves in using all wild caught fish and local organic produce. We participate in local fairs, festivals and events so come join us soon. Enjoy!

We saw Bro’s Fish Tacos last time we were in town and I added it to my list of places we needed to try. I was intrigued that it was originally a food truck first and their pictures of the tacos looked amazing. Let’s just say the pictures matched the food quality too! Everything was yummy and we left feeling stuffed!

I've been coming here for over a year now and it is by far my favorite place to get a fish taco! I recommend the "shrimpin ain't easy", "The Truth" which is fried flounder and of course their Cobia and Mahi tacos are great too! Every taco I've had here has been delicious!

Ok it’s a 5 for me just for having a dedicated place for fish tacos! But, my Truth fried fish tacos were like a 4 overall for me.  The fish didn’t taste fresh and the batter was too thick.  It was like the fish was battered and frozen and then re-battered and fried.  I think I could easily replicate the Truth taco at home by buying frozen fish from Costco and cooking it in the oven.  However, the habanero cream sauce was excellent! Just ask for an extra side though to help combat all that extra batter.  I will say I’ll be back to try the grilled ones, but only on Sunday when Gringos Taqueria is closed which for me has set the 5 star standard of fish tacos!

Very nice and attentive service! The food was absolutely delicious we got the Truth taco and the Alaskan pollock. Their beer batter fries and dill and chipotle sauce were delicious as well! We didn’t even wait over 10 minutes for our food to come out hot and fresh. Overall was an excellent experience and good priced food :

Stopped by for a quick last minute lunch and it was a great choice! Was pretty busy when I arrived, but the staff was incredibly friendly and service was still very quick despite the crowd. I got the shrimp taco and Mahi taco both with chipotle garlic sauce and they were amazing. The flavor of both were great, but I especially loved the mahi. Price for the tacos was reasonable and they weren’t overstuffed, but still had fish in every bite. I also got a side of cilantro lime rice which had great flavor, but is made with a dry rice. If you want a quick bite and amazing quality I highly recommend stopping by.

The Nachos I had back in November 20 were delicious. They were quite nice, but a bit disorganized which was understandable for the time. I loved the outdoor seating though and it was overall a good meal.

Ate lunch here on a Thursday.  Had a variety of tacos - fried and grilled fish, shrimp.  All were packed with seafood, super fresh and super flavorful.  All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.  We will definitely be back!

These are the best fish tacos by far in Virginia. We love the flounder, the tuna and the Mahi tacos, we usually order the fries with nachos sauce... it is awesome! I think this is a must visit place for all out-towners. It is only 10-15 min away from the Oceanfront and no more than 5-10 min away from town center. Prices are OK, I may say completely affordable. We visit this place at least once a month. Keep up the good job!

The fish tacos were amazing, but Dominique made the night. She is so friendly and amazing!!! We had a great time and she was so friendly and fun. Please keep her and make sure she stays. She is the heart and sole and her personality is so infectious it makes me want to stay. Love her!!!
