Battery Warehouse - Cockeysville

I went in to see if they had a replacement back up battery for my Verizon unit that is housed in my garage on the wall. They did. The price was fair. The owner told me to please drop off my old battery any time it's convenient for me and he will dispose of it properly. I thought that was very responsible of him to have such an interest in the environment and how I was disposing of my battery. Two weeks later I dropped it off when I was passing by. Both experiences were quick and easy. Great place!

I purchased a battery a couple years back and it came with a 60 months warranty. Here's a little back story; I went to the Walmart down the road and didn't receive any help and even when asked directly I was directed to an area instead of a specific location. I said you know what In a small business I'll spend more money if I have at a local fellow small business. I went online to find a car battery place local and I thought I better drive around the area if they area mom and pop they likely won't be online. I drove around the Cockeysville and Timonium area for some time before stumbling on this company. That day the manager and I thought owner whom was very knowledgeable about batteries was in somewhat of a rush.May have been closing but I explained my point of view and his attitude wasnt really too empathetic to me at all, he did, however, attempt quickly get me in and out the store. But not before I asked him why he didn't stratch the calender date out on the battery. He said don't worry about that have any issues with it within the warranty just bring it back. I said ok thanks. FASTFORWARD TO CURRENT When I brought battery back it was a new location new layout and new representative , I thought they are doing better now really organized. The old location was more like a maze. But major difference in aesthetics great improvement. I was greeted and then I explained what brought me in. At first the two representatives were short dismissive and unhelpful. They said because I didn't have my receipt that they would only be able to give me a 10% discount for a new battery. I know my rights as a customer explained that the battery was covered under warranty as marked, and explain that I could likely get the proof of purchase off a bank statement if needed. They disregarded my statement and reverted back too what I would be allowed to received. I then asked to see the policy where it states this. The representative goes into serious search mode and the other representative seemingly alot more reasonable after some push back tried to explain the policy. Anyway after some back and forth and learning experiences on both sides. As well as some key insight and position of the company. The reps were able the work through some issues and ultimately somewhat take care of me. Im in between here dispite it all In still open to do future business.

The gentleman wasn't to friendly but knowledgeable. The smoke in the establishment is overbearing for non smokers. Besides, those issues he had every thing we needed.

We highly recommend Battery Warehouse in Cockeysville. Mike was VERY helpful! We will use them again and anytime we need a battery, Battery Warehouse is where we will go.
