Applebee’s Grill + Bar

I'm not a huge chain restaurant fan but I was quite impressed. Their burgers were so juicy and big. I ordered a breakfast one with hash browns and an egg on top and it was TASTY! Plus their prices can't be beat when they're just $7.99 ($6.99 on Mondays) and that includes fries. Wow! I'm craving one now just thinking about it. I'd much rather grab that to go than a greasy sack from some fast food joint. No wonder all their to go spots are full on the weekends. I also enjoy their apps which go half price late at night. So perfect place to grab a bite after a show on date night. Let's be honest, there aren't tons of places open late anyways around Bountiful so this is definitely a great option. Kids meals are fine. I appreciate that there are at least a few options that are not just standard items. Service was fine, they lost the reservation list so we had to wait a bit before being seated even though we called ahead. Family friendly. We'll be back for burgers for sure!

Worst experience. Server was awful, I believe her name was Jen. You could tell she was new, so we were as patient as possible. First off, we repeated our order quite a few times, she came back twice even to make sure it was correct. The food came out wrong and messed up. She seemed off to begin with, very shaky. Thought maybe nerves were getting the best of her, but as the night went on you could tell she was high on something. We also overheard her talking to another employee about inappropriate things, I won't go into detail. Will not be back.

Food was great, service sucked. The manager was super nice and made everything right. I asked to have a food removed due to an allergy, she told me they're not supposed to make changes to the dishes and that the item was for decoration only. She never filled our drinks, and took 20 mins to bring out the missing items.

The only reason this review is 1 Star is because I cannot give it negative stars. We sat down to eat and waited about 15 minutes for someone to even come and ask us for drinks then that took another 10 minutes to get if we hadn’t know what we wanted it would have taken even longer to get our order in. We got an appetizer pretty quickly but that’s the last of the good service we received. My Fiancé’s chicken was not cooked all the way and I finished my entire meal before we even had someone come over and ask what was wrong. The manager asked if we enjoyed our meal and I told her I wasn’t happy with the service at all. Compared to the service of our last visit this has been atrocious. We have been waiting 20 minutes for the second dish which included the 10 minutes waiting to have someone come back to get the order. When they they finally got the order done they brought out the check and tried to make us pay for the replacement meal. I told them they better take it off they did and no one has apologized at all for this garbage experience we will never be coming back here. Do yourself a favor and don’t wast your time or money here.

Went for lunch. Very few people dining. Very slow service.
